Our Sports Massage Therapy is a fully accredited, and a recognised Level 3 qualification awarded by Focus. On completion you'll be able to gain employment or set up your own business as a Sports Massage Therapist.

Sports Massage Therapy builds on your existing knowledge and skills and takes and covers how to conduct a subjective and objective assessment. The course will focus on enhancing your assessment skills to cover a range of injuries and dysfunctions which includes the use of special tests and provide sports massage techniques to prevent and manage injury:

This qualification will prepare you for employment as a Sports massage therapist. You will also be eligible to join a professional association and gain relevant insurances as a Sports massage therapist. Career opportunities include becoming a working self employed from home, working as a Mobile Massage therapist, gaining employment within the Leisure or Spa, Industry.

Entry Requirements Level 3 or equivalent Body Massage Qualification to enrol onto the course however you will need good English Skills as you are required to complete assignments and to take external exams for each module. An Initial Interview may be carried out by Little Beauty School before enrolment to discuss which course would be more suitable for you.

How will the programme work?

You will attend Little Beauty School Training Centre for training days.

You will be required to carry our some Home Study on this Course.

What will I need for the Course?

You will need to wear a Black Salon Tunic for your training and assessment days.

You will be required to bring in 2 Large Black towels on the course for your own use when carrying out treatments.

You will be required to bring in a model on assessment days to carry out your treatments on for Practical Assessments. (Course tutors will give you specific dates and times for when models will be required)

Do I need to purchase a Kit for my Course?

It is recommended that you purchase a kit for your course for practicing treatments in your own time however it is not mandatory as all products and equipment are provided for you to use on both Training and Assessment days. Kits can be purchased clicking on the link.
